I bought all this yarn for $1.50! There are 2 different shades of green (6) and different dye lots of brown (3). I have washed it all and it has joined the stash. I am thinking that I this will be come a sweater! I may have to alternate rows to account for the dye lots, but I see a top down vintage inspired sweater. The yarn is not at all scratchy and would be great for my cold office!
If you are every in Louisville KY you must go to Lynn's Paradise Cafe. It is a great breakfast- I had the wild mushroom scramble, fruit, and fresh orange juice. I am not a biscuit fan, but there are exceptions- It is a cornmeal and white biscuit mix. Very Yummy!
On the running front I am super excited to get started with the Run with Donna group on Saturday! I have a cute new running skirt and hat. It is like the first day of school.
I saw this shoe box in an antique store and just loved it. I wanted to bring it home, but the shoes were a size 6. I just love the idea that someone had written Fancy Sandals!
Life never slows down. I have been avoiding the computer lately and opting to knit, run, or cook. I got a call from my mother in law that Joe, Seth's brother is in the hospital and is very sick. It was such a shock as we spend the long holiday weekend with him.
Life is to precious not to wear your Fancy Sandals!
If you read my blog or know me-then you ,I always struggle with weight and exercise. 8 weeks ago I started back at Weight Watchers. Things are going good- 10lbs so far. I just felt as if a piece of the puzzle was missing. An EXERCISE PLAN!
So, I am trying Body for Life. So far so good this is the end of week 1. I could barely walk after my first leg exercise. I have been consuming massive amounts of info on exercise and metabolism.
I found that Body for Life might be a good idea! I eat 6 meals a day and it is very balanced. I am combining it with Weight Watchers to make sure my total calorie consumtion is correct. I feel like I have been eating to large of portions and BLT (bites, licks, and tastes) are killing me.
So, my thoughts on week 1. Starting weight 203lb -End of week 202lb
1 lb, My body is weird and will hang on to weight and then drop a large amount 2 to 3 weeks after the work. I feel stronger, never hungry, love eating 6 times a day.
I made these pancakes this morning and thought the were great. More like a crepe- I filled my with fruit and topped it with a dolip of cool whip.
I like watching this guy- I think he is a cutie! He has lost a ton of weight!

I had so much fun finding these items. I hope you enjoyed seeing them!
This is a look down the hill at Reininger's. It was wall to wall booths. This was the center isle at the top of the field. Booths were off both sides. I also posted a picture of the horse trailer I bought for my toy Tonka truck. I think the colors are a great match. I just love the idea of this realistic well worn (loved) toy. I guess Seth was jealous so he bought a Jeep and a small U haul trailer. I use the tuck on my dinning table to hold fruit.
This past weekend Seth and I traveled to central Florida in search of treasures. We went to Reininger's in Mt Dora on Sunday and Webster on Monday. Both are large antique markets setup in fields. They estimate between 60,000 and 70,000 people were at Webster.
So here are my treasures Betsy- is the name I gave my new dress form. She is foam with a cast iron base and cotton slip. Cost $20.00
